COVID-19 TESTING IN JÄMSÄ

How to make an appointment:
By phone, call Jämsä Health Care Center (Jämsän Terveys): +358 20 630 6020 (from Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 15.30 pm, Friday 8.00 am to 15.00 pm)

Outside health services’ regular opening hours, call Jämsä First Aid Unit (Ensiapu) +358 40 712 2555

You may arrive by car/ taxi or by walking.

Make sure you have your personal identity card at hand (e.g. passport, driving license).

Sampling takes place in the car.

How to get the test results:

You will get the result from Fimlab laboratory by text message to your mobile phone in approximately one day (or 1-2 days). If you don’t get the result within 2 days, call + 358 20 6306020.

The result CV19Nh NEG means there is no covid-virus in the sample. The test is negative.

The result CV19Nh POS means that the test is positive for covid-virus. You have to stay home and wait for nurse’s/doctor’s instructions by phone. Your family members have to stay home as well.
